In order to qualify as a bidder and bid on OFFERING #1 (22± Acres on Central Street), one must be present with a bank check in the amount of $25,000. If you wish to bid on OFFERING #’S 2, 3 & 4, you must be present with a bank check in the amount of $10,000. *** YOU WILL NEED A SEPARATE DEPOSIT CHECK FOR EACH OFFERING YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE. *** Your deposit must be in the form of a bank check made payableto the “TOWN OF EAST BRIDGEWATER”. NO PERSONAL or BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. In addition to the required deposit at the auction, an additional deposit to increase the total deposit to 10% of the purchase price is due within 5 business days of the auction (September 9, 2020). The remainder of the purchase price must be paid by October 2, 2020 by bank check, money order or attorney IOLTA check. There will also be a 4% Buyer's Premium added to the winning bid price of each offering.
