Marianne Sullivan

A Massachusetts native and a seasoned real estate professional, Marianne Sullivan is the founder and lead auctioneer of Sullivan & Sullivan Auctioneers in Sandwich, Massachusetts. The privately held company is one of the leading real estate auction firms in the region and is recognized nationwide, serving municipal and private clients throughout Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island.

After spending 18 years learning the ins and outs of the business while working for a Boston-area auction company, Marianne fulfilled her dream of launching her own firm in 2007. Her vision was to build an auction business centered on operational excellence and an unwavering commitment to customized services.

Under Marianne’s leadership, Sullivan & Sullivan has grown from a team of three managing fewer than 20 auctions per month to an industry powerhouse with seasoned full-time employees conducting more than 2,000 successful auctions each year. In 2009, she launched a second auction firm called Patriot Auctioneers. Together, “The Sullivan Companies” now serve the default industry, municipal marketplace, and countless private clients, and proudly facilitate local auctions for two national auction vendors across three states.

Consistent with a commitment to good corporate citizenship, Sullivan & Sullivan has been a major sponsor and volunteer of the Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod since 2011. The firm also supports a number of community-based causes in partnership with hospitals, churches, and charitable foundations.

As an industry thought leader, Marianne has been featured in numerous media publications including the New England Real Estate Journal, and is a frequent presenter at real estate industry seminars and events. She is a past vice president of the Massachusetts Auctioneers Association and has been active with New England Women in Real Estate.

Outside the office, Marianne is an avid antique car enthusiast who enjoys sportfishing, gardening, and Nantucket basket weaving. She can usually be found in the company of family and friends or out and about with her five dogs enjoying all the Cape has to offer.
