In order to qualify as a bidder and bid on all properties, except for Duffy Drive, one must be present with a bank check in the amount of $5,000. If you wish to ONLY bid on Duffy Drive, you must be present with a bank check in the amount of $500. *** YOU WILL NEED A SEPARATE DEPOSIT CHECK FOR EACH PROPERTY YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE. *** Your deposit must be in the form of a bank check made payable to the “CITY OF TAUNTON”. NO PERSONAL or BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The remainder of the purchase price must be paid by October 30, 2020 by bank check, money order or attorney IOLTA check. There will also be a 5% Buyer's Premium added to the winning bid price of each offering.
