In order to qualify as a bidder and bid on East Street or River Road, one must be present with a bank check in the amount of $5,000. If you wish to bid on Main Road or North Road, you must be present with a bank check in the amount of $2,500. *** YOU WILL NEED A SEPARATE DEPOSIT CHECK FOR EACH PARCEL YOU PLAN TO PURCHASE. *** Your deposit must be in the form of a bank check made payable to the “TOWN OF CHESTERFIELD”. NO PERSONAL or BUSINESS CHECKS WILL BE ACCEPTED. The remainder of the purchase price must be paid by DECEMBER 14, 2020 by bank check, money order or attorney IOLTA check. There will also be a 7% Buyer's Premium added to the winning bid price of each offering.
